Greg is a native Southern Californian and full-time resident of Palm Springs. Greg is the adopted father of two children, Zachary and Joshua, who both attend Raymond Cree Middle School.
Greg graduated from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington with a major in Economics and Political Science. He was extremely active in student government and civic activities. He put himself through school working on-campus in the library and student store as well as a full-time job at the Sheraton Hotel.
Greg's early professional career focused on restaurant and hotel customer service and management. He continued to remain active in political and civic causes while living in Seattle after college.
In 1996 Greg became a full-time father for his autistic son, Zachary and four years later his second adopted child Joshua. He still remained active part-time doing non-profit consulting and issue advocacy work. Greg's commitment to challenged children like his earned him an appointment by Washington State's Governor to the Washington State Developmental Disabilities Commission.
A part-time resident of Palm Springs for over 6 years, Greg and his boys moved full-time to the desert in 2006. He immediately became involved in educational and civic issues. Greg has been an active member of the PTA, the President of the Katherine Finchy PTA and Chair of the School Site Council.
Greg currently serves on the Palm Springs Unified School District's Parent and Community Advisory Committees, the Citizen's Oversight Committee for school bond measures, he is the Treasurer for the Raymond Cree PTG and is a Board Member for the Pinnacle Fund, the District's non-profit foundation for arts and technology funding. Greg is also a member of the Palm Springs Human Rights Commission.
